We have been enjoying learning about the lungs and heart. We studied the path of blood through the heart, air through lungs and even tested our lung capacity. We used our apples to carry out an exploding apple experiment and found the best preservative to stop them from going brown. We studied chemical reactions by making mug cakes and tested the effect of different substances on our teeth. We also used red cabbage to test the pH of different substances we use in our home and in our baking.
